ABC Podcast, Episode #52 and visual aids

This episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Onions, the windshield wipers of the 19th century and a sandwich must. It's another Secret Six and Agents of Atlas week, so you know what that means, although Joe Kelly's Bang Tango, Peter Tomasi's Mighty, and the delightful debut of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's Marvel Divas clean up nice as well. We join the hordes of rubberneckers in re: Justice League: Cry for Justice, and admit to reading and sort of enjoying Barack the Barbarian, sober even. Happy Fourth of July!

catman was eating meat in one of the minis gail wrote. i remember it because someone said something about him donating a bunch of money to a "radical animal rights group" while he was eating meat.

also, i have to give some liefeld hate. he might have drawn obama alright but he was pissed about shatterstar kissing a dude (i forgot the character's name sorry) and gave the lame "i have gay friends and family" bullshit. he said he'll change it if given the chance. i'm sure his god kills the world mini will sell well.

also again, ditto on batman and robin #2.

Okay, am I NOT supposed to comment on "tittishly"? Lolly's never had that particular adverb in stock, but the Juggs subscriber wept with joy when he heard it.

Download should be working now! Don't know what happened, Libsyn had a brain freeze.

I find your Secret Six comment interesting since the artist, Nicola Scott IS from Australia! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot that... but anyway, hopefully no one took that as offensive to Australians, it's just, like, part of the history of Australia, and stuff :).

Loved your synopsis on the gangster comic on the first/last section. I don't care if it was a rant it made me want to read it.. also it really seems like a concept that could be optioned to a different medium like a movie.

Wow, even though I rambled forever and made no sense and gave everything away? Awesome! But seriously it's super good, you should totally get it. Joe Kelly is on fire.

BTW, to commenter Bird, just in case you only come back here when there's a new episode, I want to make sure you look at yesterday's post inspired by your comment above.
